We are pleased to announce that MEHO received it's 501(c)3 tax exempt designation from the IRS on January 21, 2011 and are happy to extend the tax benefits to you when you donate to our organization to support our causes. What better way to give back to the community than to have your tax dollars working for you by giving to others?
Unfortunately, there is still a lot of work to be done and a lot of people who are still in need in our own country and our own communities. Please join us in providing a hand-up and not just a hand-out to the many women, children and families who have fallen victim to homelessness and hopelessness and unemployment in our own backyards due to the lingering economic crisis.
In the near future, MEHO will be partnering with other non-profit organizations, vendors, sponsors and volunteers in an effort to lease, purchase and build affordable housing and social services in designated communities throughout the metropolitan area and to have a variety of homes available to meet the specific needs of our participants. So, don't forget to spread the word!
